Welcome to Pineapple Court: Release Day Is Finally Here! 🍍☀️
It's official.
The Peculiar Party on Pineapple Court is out in the world.
After months of writing, editing, revising, planning, stressing, celebrating, and perhaps consuming an unhealthy amount of pineapple-themed things, release day has finally arrived—and I honestly don't know if I have the words to express how grateful I am.
This book started with a premise that made me laugh:
What if two best friends faked a marriage to join their neighborhood swingers?
But somewhere along the way, it became so much more than that.
Beneath the beach-town setting, exceptional cast, and spicy moments is a story about friendship, identity, and discovering that life doesn't always have to look the way we thought it would.
It's about giving yourself permission to ask the difficult questions.
It's about realizing that self-discovery doesn't end when you turn thirty.
It's about finding people who love you not because you fit into a box…but because you don't.
And most of all, it's about love that creates space for growth.
One of my greatest joys in writing this book was creating the community of Pineapple Court. While the main romance follows a man and a woman, the neighborhood is filled with a wonderfully diverse cast of LGBTQ+ characters and relationships. I wanted to create a world that felt welcoming, joyful, messy, and deeply human. Pineapple Court a place where different kinds of love and different paths through life are celebrated.
Because love isn't one-size-fits-all.
And neither are people.
Thank You
No book makes it into readers' hands alone.
To my street team, ARC readers, beta readers, fellow authors, family, friends, and every single person who preordered, shared a post, recommended the book, or simply cheered me on along the way:
Thank you.
Truly.
Independent publishing can feel overwhelming at times, but watching this little pineapple book find its way into the world has been one of the greatest experiences of my life.
